My Favorite Blue Paint Colors

There’s no denying that blue is my favorite shade to incorporate into interior spaces. It is soothing, easy on the eyes, and so many colors work well with it. I have rounded up my favorite shades of blue below!

Benjamin Moore Hale Navy

This has got to be one of my absolute favorite blue paint colors in my decks and is a fan favorite for most interior designers. It’s the perfect deep dark shade of blue without being overpowering. It looks great on walls and cabinetry and offers just the right amount of drama to a space.

Benjamin Moore Van Courtland Blue

Another favorite shade of blue that is much lighter than Hale Navy but still offers a little bit of mystery is Benjamin Moore Van Courtland Blue. I used it in a Master Bathroom recently and it really allowed all the neutral elements in the space to pop.

Benjamin Moore Newburyport Blue

When I want a little brighter navy blue, my go to is Benjamin Moore "Newburyport Blue”. It is a little brighter than Hale Navy but still maintains a sophisticated look and doesn’t look to child-like. My favorite place for this color is on cabinetry. The saturated color is the perfect accent to this all white kitchen.

Sherwin Williams North Star

North Star is a soft blue that has gray undertones and ,depending on the light, can really change in appearance. While it is one of my favorites to use, I do recommend painting a sample on the wall before going all in on this one due to the shade variations depending on the light. It reminds me of a cooler day, when there is just a sliver of sun, and the world is just a little quieter.
