Meet the Team...Introducing Maggie!

I wanted to give our readers, clients, and potential clients an opportunity to meet the incredible ladies that help JNT Interiors operate day to day and make our firm truly special! I am so thankful for each team member and what they help me accomplish for our clients. Each person who works for me has their own unique design style that truly captures who they are— I thought it would be fun to have them create design boards as a way for you to meet the ladies and learn a little more about them!

My name is Maggie Harris. I graduated from Design School in Chicago with a BFA in interior design and art history. I’ve worked at an international architectural firm in Washington DC and as a Junior Designer for a residential Interior Designer. I stepped away for a bit to have three children (Jade and I both have twins!). I can never be too far from design though and continued to work on painting, have an Etsy shop, and hire out for small graphic design projects.

I started with JNT in January of 2021 at the end of Covid and couldn’t wait to get back into the office. My title ‘Operations and Procurement’ means I work on getting the furniture, fabrics and labor for projects. I assist with client selections from the start of the project to the end. Our phase 1 on projects starts with notes, research, mood boards, and proposals. After approvals, I work on phase 2; purchase orders, tracking, warehousing, claims and deliveries. It’s a lot of phone calls, emails and filing! Summed up: I’m a middleman that gets to work directly with clients and manufactures to help make sure projects run as smoothly as possible and that all the items ordered are there for install day.

I don’t know if I have a specific style, so I always say soft eclectic! I love feminine design with a little bit of vintage and industrial. Concrete floors, white walls, soft draperies, colorful artwork or patterns and unexpected pieces or placement make me happy.
