New Year, New Project!

There’s nothing like kicking off a new project at the beginning of the year! It’s exciting to have something fresh and new to work on and it gets the creativity going. The latest project on my books is going to be a good one…it’s a renovation project on the cutest bungalow home just down the road from my office. So it gets points for getting me to walk more and drive less (new year= fitness goals, right?)! The home is needs a little love and updating and with a new floor plan configuration, including a kitchen overhaul, bright and shiny new bathrooms, and new storage solutions, I know the client is going to be over the moon with the results!

The client is part of what makes this project so fun! She is full of life and with her kids growing older and leaving the nest, this home update signifies the start of the next chapter in her life and I am so glad she has asked me to be a part of it. Her style is clean and classic with pops of color and whimsy thrown in. Here’s the moodboard I put together to start the project and will refer to it frequently throughout the process to make sure we are headed on the right path.
